SAILOR 900 VSAT

The SAILOR 900 VSAT from Thrane & Thrane is a cost effective, 'always-on', Internet protocol based broadband solution allowing ship operators and fleet owners to budget for fixed airtime operational data usage costs.  

As a standard feature, the SAILOR 900 VSAT comes with built-in routing management technology, offering owners of existing Thrane & Thrane manufactured Fleet or FleetBroadband products a unique and integrated VSAT add-on solution, allowing ship operators to cut communication costs while sailing inside the SAILOR 900 VSAT coverage area.

The SAILOR 900 VSAT is made up of four components:

Above Deck Unit,A 90 cm Ku-Band antenna

Below Deck Units:

• An Antenna Control Unit (ACU)
• A VSAT Modem Unit (VMU)
• A Communication Management Unit (CMU)

Choose between three levels of bandwidth connections:

• Bronze: Up to 256≤/64≥ kbps connection, one voice over IP (VoIP) line
• Silver: Up to 512≤/128≥ kbps connection, two voice over IP (VoIP) lines
• Gold: Up to 1024≤/256≥ kbps connection, two voice over IP (VoIP) lines
