Nick Francis from Casual Films contacted us as he was embarking upon an amazing journey to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The trip would entail covering some 9,000 miles on some of the worlds worst roads in a 20 year old Mini for charity. Nick was contractually obliged to provide the Expedia travel site with film, photos and written diary content every two to three days throughout the trip and needed equipment which would supply a reliable internet connection even in remote areas.
Our experienced sales team were able to advise upon the most suitable terminal for the trip and provided the RBGAN system and airtime to enable Nick to send his information back to the UK. The system provided the platform and Nick easily sent his 10MB packages in about 5 - 10 minutes as opposed to the hour and a half it had taken him previously to send information using local dial-up cafes.
